Over the years, Dr. Patil has played a pivotal role in national and state-level education initiatives, serving as a member of the Consultative Group for Higher and Technical Education under the Planning Commission of India, a member of the Planning and Monitoring Board of the National Brain Research Centre in Manesar, a member of the Management Council of Savitribai Phule Pune University, and a member of the Board of Governors at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration, Pune.
